Cyber Newsroom: A Human-Governed Generative AI Platform for Cybersecurity Intelligence Synthesis

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Cyber Newsroom is an AI-supported, independently built, human-driven resource for structuring information about cyber security – which is openly available online. The platform draws intelligence from pre-selected cyber security sources and integrates overlapping intelligence, organizes intelligence around story clusters and creates brief factual intelligence, analyst perspectives and fictional synthetic analysis. It analyzes topics like threat intelligence, vulnerability research, incident response, governance, organisational risk and geopolitics. It aims to minimize cybersecurity information overload while working to be clear about artificial-intelligence disclosure, editorial responsibility and defensive-content safeguards and uncertainty treatment. The purpose, information-processing workflow, multi-perspective analytical model, editorial governance, ethical considerations and anticipated value, as well as limitations and developments, of the platform are described in this technical paper. Cyber Newsroom is offered as a supporting, information synthesis tool and not meant to replace main security advisories, skilled threat-intelligence services, or qualified cybersecurity guidance.
