A Process-Rate Interpretation of Precision Clock Experiments: The Universal Intrinsic Evolution Framework (UIEF Version 1.0)
Abstract
This repository contains the first public release of the manuscript "A Process-Rate Interpretation of Precision Clock Experiments: The Universal Intrinsic Evolution Framework (UIEF Version 1.0)." The manuscript presents a phenomenological framework for interpreting representative precision timing experiments in terms of intrinsic physical process rates. Instead of treating elapsed time as the primary observable, the framework models measurable quantities such as atomic transition frequencies, nuclear transition frequencies, oscillator frequencies, and radioactive decay rates through a unified intrinsic process-rate formalism. UIEF introduces separate gravitational and motion contributions together with process-specific local effects, and develops mathematical expressions for weak-field gravitational frequency shifts and motion-dependent process rates. The manuscript compares the resulting calculations with representative published measurements, including: Aluminium-ion optical clock experiments Pound–Rebka gravitational redshift experiment Gravity Probe A hydrogen-maser measurements GPS satellite clock corrections High-speed muon lifetime measurements Hafele–Keating aircraft clock experiments The work also proposes the Universal Ratio Principle, which predicts that different intrinsic physical processes subjected to identical gravitational and kinematic conditions should exhibit the same normalized response after correcting for process-specific local effects. This prediction is intended to be evaluated through future precision experiments. UIEF Version 1.0 is presented as a phenomenological, experimentally testable, and falsifiable framework. It is not presented as an experimentally established replacement for existing theoretical descriptions. The manuscript explicitly identifies its assumptions, limitations, and proposed future experimental directions. This Zenodo record represents the initial public release (Version 1.0) of the Universal Intrinsic Evolution Framework and is intended to provide a permanent, citable record of the work.
