Unity by Compatibility: RCD 3.0 and the Form–Scale Seam in Linearized Gravity
Abstract
This position paper reports a structural pivot of the RCD research program. Its founding ontology — a fundamental coherence field C(x,t) — is retired in its strong form: not by experimental refutation, but by parsimony, after internal audits found no task for the field that established physics does not already perform, no exclusive prediction, and no discriminating test. The founding intuition is reinterpreted as a demand of intersectoral compatibility, given a minimal formal core: a law is rigid by compatibility over a set of inferential routes when the intersection of the law-spaces each route admits is a single point, every hypothesis carries a declared role, and the routes' shared background is provably insufficient to yield the law by itself. The paper presents three deliverables: (i) a versioned inventory of physical prohibitions across five audit domains; (ii) a methodological framework — three-moments doctrine, species locks, question-pledges frozen under cryptographic hash before any literature search, and adversarial multi-model auditing under an honest statute; and (iii) a first theorem-objective, T0: whether the linearized gravitational law is rigid by compatibility across two candidate families of routes — one entropic, one non-entropic — in form and in normalization. A four-way deep literature audit found no published bilateral comparison separating form, normalization and hypothesis genealogies, and surfaced a structural asymmetry termed the form–scale seam: the form of linearized gravity is reachable by at least two genealogically distinct routes (entanglement equilibrium; massless spin-2 self-consistency), while Newton's constant enters, in every informational route located, through a single bridge — the area–entropy relation S = A/4Għ. The divergent structure of induced-gravity routes is governed by the same ultraviolet coefficients as entanglement entropy, so they do not, as located, supply an independent second thread. No physical result is claimed. The contribution is a research program, a formal core, a map, and an adjudicable question frozen before its answer, with its conditions of defeat declared.
