Abstract

Experience is defined as the position occupied by consciousness at the rank of a discrete series running through the set of stations. At each rank, exactly one station is lit. The order of the series is governed by a potential — orientation toward the absent — posited under a non-triviality clause. The cosmic entity is neither prior nor terminal: it is an inexperienceable topology, whose unity is actual only at the crossing of a local threshold (¶) — a dream, a loss of consciousness, death. The physical world is the overlay: the geometry deployed from the lit station. The field is finite at each rank, unbounded in the series. The view separates two irreversibilities: resolution, which can reopen, and the deposit, which cannot be undone. The asymmetry is a theorem of the archive's growth, and a global monotone of organization, posited and not read, licenses local reopening. The series is read as a block: all ranks are real, the present is the indexical name of the current rank, the others are lit at their rank. Uniqueness reads as the totality of the order of constitution: no incomparability between lightings, hence no fact of co-presence — and no privileged frame: the rank is not a hypersurface of simultaneity. The view dissolves decombination and synchronic combination. Four debts : testimony is not evidence; co-presence is refused; illusionism is not refuted — if it is true, the view is without object; the form of the potential and inter-overlay coherence remain a programme. Part of the geometry, however, is demonstrated: under two named posits, the concordance of overlays generates an ultrametric, the magnitude of a threshold becomes the depth of the smallest shared ball, and the threshold effect — sleep and death differing in level, not in nature — is automatic. The paper sorts every statement by status (axiom, theorem, gloss, inexperienceable, open), situates the position with respect to universalism, Abhidhamma, process philosophy, analytic idealism, combinationism and illusionism, compares debts explicitly, and appends an executed finite model exhibiting the co-tenability of the axioms, together with a one-page lexicon.
