Perception as Existence——The Unitary Interactive Process of Perceptual Capacity with External Input, Action and Being-Acted-Upon Occurring Simultaneously

Abstract

This paper reconstructs the epistemological framework, proposing the core thesis: Perception is not a description of existence. Perception is the unitary interactive process between perceptual capacity and external input — action and being-acted-upon occur simultaneously. It is one of the ways in which existence unfolds itself. This paper positions the structure of perception as follows: Vision, hearing, smell, taste, touch are the processes of cross-validation between perceptual capacity and external input across different channels; the integration of perceptual capacity is the integrated operational layer of integration, symbolization, and self-reference; the essence of perception is the cross-validation between perceptual capacity and information-energy-state unity, converging through continuous manifestation-concealment into stable perceptual states. This paper further clarifies: the relationship between perception and manifestation-concealment — perception itself is an operation of manifestation-concealment, with perceptual capacity selectively manifesting certain channels of cross-validation while concealing others; the relationship between perception and unitary equilibrium — the reality of perception is a state of unitary equilibrium achieved through the convergence of multiple perceptual channels in continuous manifestation-concealment. The paper concludes with falsifiability conditions, inviting readers to corroborate or challenge.
