Measuring Compact Local Evidence Carriers: A Reproducibility Audit of Qorx

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This artifact-backed preprint audits compact local evidence carriers in three archived Qorx runs. It separates indexed corpus, carrier size, resolved evidence, provider input, and task outcome. In the headline artifact, five fixed queries selected two handles encoded in a 56-byte carrier; a local character-count estimator assigns 14 tokens, yielding an index-to-handle addressing ratio of 13,199,246.07x against an estimated 184,789,445-token index. Mean in-process lookup was 0.8974 ms (median 0.242 ms). The deposit includes the 9-page paper, 13-page supplement, source, integrity-checked receipts, verification scripts, claim register, and confirmatory-study protocol. The current evidence supports receipt verification, exact arithmetic recomputation, and documented protocol reruns; independent source-to-binary reconstruction of the historical May executable remains a follow-on step. This is an author-issued preprint and has not undergone journal peer review.
