Observation as Access: A Quantum Traction Theory Dissolution of the Measurement Problem

Open access52 citations

Abstract

When does a laboratory record belong to the source, and when does it belong to the measurement camera? Stable concept DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20114403 The paper begins by separating the completed source, finite access projection, and laboratory camera: \[ \boxed{ \mathcal O_{\rm lab} = \mathcal C_{\rm lab}\!\left[\mathcal P_A(\rho_{\rm src})\right], \qquad \frac{\partial\rho_{\rm src}}{\partial\mathcal C_{\rm lab}}=0. } \] Observation is exact source-observer address co-location. Measurement is that event plus a calibrated pointer and a durable redundant record. Conditional Lüders projection is the laboratory description of conditioning on the completed record; the source construction introduces no stochastic collapse force, localization length, observer trigger, or target-fitted measurement coefficient. The corresponding completed-address commutator and uncertainty floor are \[ [\hat X,\hat P] =J\hbar(I-\hat M_w), \qquad \eta=\operatorname{Tr}(\rho\hat M_w), \qquad \Delta X\,\Delta P \geq \frac{\hbar}{2}(1-\eta). \] A coherent-survival kernel and a positive unital address-centralization map construct the operational central effect: \[ \boxed{ A_w(\mathfrak L) = I-\mathfrak Z_w\!\left[ K_{\rm coh}(\mathfrak L)^\dagger K_{\rm coh}(\mathfrak L) \right], \qquad 0\preceq A_w\preceq I, \qquad \eta=\operatorname{Tr}(\rho A_w). } \] The same independently constructed effect family carries the exact hidden-information identity, the thermodynamic work ceiling, and the registered uncertainty floor: \[ i_A=\frac{1}{N}I(K{:}Q), \qquad 0\leq i_A\leq \frac{1}{N}\sum_j h_2(\eta_j) \leq h_2(\bar\eta), \] \[ w_E \leq \bar w_R+\int_{s_R-i_A}^{s_R}T(s)\,ds, \qquad \Delta X_j\,\Delta P_j \geq \frac{\hbar}{2}(1-\eta_j). \] The theorem proves \(i_A\neq\eta\) in general, so an observed work gain cannot be inverted into a convenient access operator. When \(A_w^2=A_w=A_w^\dagger\), the original Central-Projector Representation Theorem is recovered exactly. Version-specific chronology and claim provenance. The historical comparison is fixed to the immutable May 2026 release within the Observation as Access concept family, not inferred from the current landing-page content. DataCite registered that immutable release at 2026-05-10 22:53:42 UTC. Its live Zenodo checksums match the archived TeX and PDF byte for byte, and the relevant definitions and equations are located on pp. 7-10. It precedes Cho and Lee's arXiv:2609.01303v1 by 113 days, 15 hours, 36 minutes, and 55 seconds. \[ \boxed{ t_{\rm Cho-Lee}-t_{\rm QTT,DOI} =113\,{\rm d}+15\,{\rm h}+36\,{\rm min}+55\,{\rm s}>0. } \] This documents version-specific earlier public disclosure for the QTT address ontology, observation and measurement definitions, collapse-as-conditioning construction, and Access Law actually printed in that immutable artifact. It does not transfer the established mathematics of quantum measurement, data processing, sufficient statistics, Fisher contraction, or Hellinger geometry into QTT. Cho and Lee's finite-data decision rule, analytic library-relative theorem, and hardware demonstrations retain their own provenance. Chronology alone is not used to infer copying, influence, or a citation obligation. The corresponding record-type firewall is \[ \boxed{ T_e(Y) \not\equiv N_{\rm rec}(T) \not\equiv \mathcal R_{\rm acc}(T;\Gamma). } \] A conventional retained statistic, a completed QTT historical record, and its later accessible memory are different mathematical types until a physical transfer theorem connects selected members. The resulting scientific relation is upstream-ontology non-entailment, while observable-law embedding remains allowed: \[ \boxed{ \begin{aligned} Q_{\rm record}(a)&\not\Longrightarrow Q_{\rm ont}(q),\\ Q_{\rm ont}(q)&\not\Longrightarrow Q_{\rm record}(a),\\ p_W=p_Q&\not\Longrightarrow Q_{\rm cause}(W,Q). \end{aligned} } \] The record audit begins at the measured probability law. It can represent a finite law generated by QTT, standard quantum mechanics, or another source model, but cannot decide which upstream ontology generated it. QTT source closure cannot decide whether a finite laboratory summary retained the relevant response. The paper proves these non-implications by explicit countermodels and composes the layers without relabelling either one. Version 11.01 also supplies an independent retained-record qualification interface for the unchanged Same-Central-Effect Work-Quadrature Loop Preregistration. The complete shot row is separated into frozen design/provenance variables (X_r) and stochastic detector/status outcomes (U_r). The Hellinger audit acts only on conditional (U_r)-laws over one common branch-specific alphabet: \[ \boxed{ p_k(u)=\Pr(U_r=u\mid X_r=x_k^{(p)}),\qquad q_k(u)=\Pr(U_r=u\mid X_r=x_k^{(q)}). } \] This blocks setting, epoch, calibration, and timestamp labels from manufacturing a response. Complete all-trigger count vectors then generate one simultaneous confidence region over both branches: \[ \boxed{ M=2\sum_{k\in\mathcal K_W\sqcup\mathcal K_Q}m_{r(k)}, \qquad \delta_{k,\nu} =\sqrt{\frac{\log(2M/\alpha_{\rm rec})}{2N_{k,\nu}}}, \qquad \nu\in\{p,q\}. } \] The executor then computes conservative population bounds for full-distribution task discrepancy, retained response, and compression loss: \[ \boxed{ D_a=H^2(p_a,q_a),\qquad B_a=H^2(T_{\#}p_a,T_{\#}q_a),\qquad R_a=D_a-B_a\geq0. } \] Record approval, refusal, or deferment is decided from simultaneous bounds on \(R_a\). Task pass, failure, or deferment is decided separately from \(D_a\). The stronger analytic finite-library theorem is a separate optional layer and remains library-relative. \[ \boxed{ Q_{\rm eligible} =\mathbf 1\{D_{\rm rec}=\mathrm{APPROVE}\} Q_{\rm sampling}Q_{\rm epoch}Q_{\rm packet}Q_{\rm seal} Q_{\rm preblind}Q_{\rm app}^{\rm QTT}, \qquad \mathcal E_{\rm QTT}=\mathbf 1\{Q_{\rm eligible}=1\}. } \] Here \(\mathcal E_{\rm QTT}=1\) means eligible for the unchanged frozen QTT analysis, while \(\mathcal E_{\rm QTT}=0\) means no theory verdict. Approval establishes record adequacy only for the declared comparisons, budgets, simultaneous confidence rule, sampling model, and named hardware epoch. Task performance and optional relative response capture are reported separately. QTT work, power, crosstalk, operational route-consistency, and target-blind activation remain independent gates, each with PASS/FAIL/HOLD state and statistical error allocation where applicable. Their passage does not establish a unique cause. Recalibration, elapsed validity, failed stationarity, or significant record-level drift expires the qualification. The QTT target surface, estimator, covariance order, and four sealed file hashes remain unchanged. Verification: inherited effect theorem 11,286/11,286; retrospective thermodynamic-access audit 8,407/8,407; version-specific chronology and claim scope 79/79; finite-count interface 331/331. The last two totals are software and theorem-logic checks, not experimental validation. Status: QTT measurement ontology closed; central-effect constructor closed; retrospective structural audit green; immutable May content hash-and-page verified; earlier disclosure of the listed QTT propositions documented; QTT/Cho-Lee upstream-ontology non-entailment proved by countermodel; design-label leakage no-go closed; finite-data and analytic record layers separated; branch-resolved count execution available; real external hardware qualification pending; QTT-exclusive same-effect laboratory verdict pending.
