BSSG: An Evidence-Independent Control Plane for Bounded Artificial Agency

Open access0 citations

Abstract

BSSG (Bounded Structural Safety Gate) v0.1 -- paper (v1.1) and carried artifact bundle. This revision resolves all findings from five rounds of multi-model adversarial review (Kimi K3/Moonshot, GPT-5.6 Sol/OpenAI, Gemini 3.1 Pro/Google, GLM-5.2/Zhipu) plus an independent ChatGPT review. Changes from v1.0: PDF typeset (LaTeX via pandoc); AI-producer disclosure and conflict-of-interest/ethics statement restored to front matter; section numbering corrected (1--10); class-fix description restructured as two coordinated changes (empty-Authority initialization + DENY-path write removal) covering four code-level root-cause variants; root-cause characterization corrected to the proper level of generality; Kimi K3's pre-fix discovery role disclosed in carry-independence note; all model identifiers completed; ref #48 URL corrected to depthfirst primary source; affiliation added. No effectiveness claim is made. Artifact state unchanged: 345 tests OK, 176/176 counterexamples GREEN, bounded exhaustive enumeration PASS (11,110 schedules), verifier 12 PASS / 2 WARN / 0 FAIL, two-family carry (Grok 4/xAI + Kimi K3/Moonshot). Bundle contains the pass-37 reference gate (Python, stdlib only), 6 JSON schemas, 176-counterexample corpus, bounded enumeration checker, execution-bound attestation harness, 13-gate verifier, full audit history (30 files), carry evidence, and methodology corpus.
