D1.5 OSTrails Interoperability Reference Architecture V2

Abstract

This deliverable presents Version 2 of the OSTrails reference architecture and its three Interoperability Frameworks for DMPs, SKGs, and FAIR Assessment, reflecting three years of design and implementation work. It provides guidance on interactions between key components, clarifying which interactions are standardised while allowing flexible implementation. The architecture and frameworks aim to prevent vendor lock-in and support current and anticipated interaction patterns, enabling interoperability, automation, and machine-actionable exchange of research data management information.
