Abstract

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a chronic, progressive neurodegenerative disorder and the leading cause of dementia worldwide. It is characterized by progressive deterioration of memory, cognition, language, executive function, and behavior, ultimately affecting activities of daily living. The increasing life expectancy of the global population has led to a rapid rise in the prevalence of AD, making it a major public health challenge with substantial social and economic impact.
