Schools report uncertainty after online grooming concerns are raised
School professionals in Türkiye said they often recognised possible online grooming or sexual exploitation through changes in students’ behaviour, but were unsure about legal reporting duties and referral routes. The study argues that technical safeguards need to be combined with clear procedures, staff training and ongoing work with families.
