Using the internet can weaken marriages—or help them—depending on resources
A new study using multiple waves of national survey data in China finds that frequent internet use is linked to lower marital stability on average. But the negative link is smaller—or disappears—for people with higher structural resources, while the positive link through well-being grows stronger.
