Modified residual network architecture for early-stage piston-cylinder wear detection in hydraulic axial piston pumps

Axial piston pumps are widely used in aerospace and construction machinery because of their high volumetric efficiency, compact design, and high-pressure, variable-flow capability. However, their closely mating components are susceptible to wear, making early detection essential....

Time-Integrated Micronutrient Adequacy and Chronic Safety: A Tissue-Reservoir Model and a Cited One-Compartment Kinetic Model with Homeostatic Absorption

A daily adequacy check asks whether one bowl meets a requirement. It cannot answer the two questions that matter over a feeding lifetime: whether adequacy survives the day-to-day variation of a real diet once tissue stores are allowed to buffer it, and whether the nutrients that...

Validating Residual Correction in Fresh-Food Companion-Animal Diets: A Paired-Arm Reliability Ablation, a Stochastic Reliability Framework, and a Tissue-Kinetic Safety Model

Fresh, home-cooked diets for cats and dogs are biologically appealing but, evaluated against an established nutrient standard, are routinely incomplete. A residual-correction approach — a biologically appropriate fresh base plus a calculated micronutrient correction — can close t...

Deterministic Overdose Escalation Limits in Feline and Canine Nutritional Formulations: A Closed-Form Margin-of-Safety Analysis

A diet can be adequate on day one and unsafe over a year, and it can be safe at the label dose and unsafe when an owner doubles it. This paper addresses both questions with models that are deliberately separate from the stochastic adequacy framework, because they answer different...

Nutrient Adequacy and Biological-Architecture Classification: A Two-Axis Framework for Evaluating Variable Fresh-Food Diets in Companion Animals

Standard regulatory compliance models evaluate companion-animal diets with a single scalar test: does each nutrient clear a defined floor? That test is indifferent to the source of the nutrient and to the long-term appropriateness of the food supplying it. We argue that the quali...

Evaluation of Multi-Breed Allometric Energy Formulations Against Published Calorimetric Expenditure Data in Canines

This paper discloses in full the allometric energy model that sizes the daily nutrient target for a residual micronutrient correction, and traces the provenance of every constant in it. Daily maintenance energy is sized as MER = 98 · BW^0.64 · M for dogs and 90 · BW^0.67 · M for...
