Evolution of Twinning During High Strain Rate Tensile Deformation and Fracture in High-Silicon Electrical Steels

In this study, we reveal the evolution of deformation twins and their relationship with mechanical properties in a high-silicon ferritic steel (3.8 wt% Si) subjected to high-strain rate tensile loading (0.67 s⁻¹). The microstructural evolution at different strain levels (ultimate...

Plasmonic‐Based Negative Photoconductance Photodetectors for a New Optical Window

ABSTRACT In recent years, the short‐wave infrared (SWIR) region has been extended to 2 µm, opening new opportunities for optical windows and light detection and ranging (LiDAR) applications, particularly due to advantages such as eye safety and long‐range detection. In this study...

Valuation, Profitability, and Subsequent Stock Returns: Firm Fixed-Effects Evidence from Taiwan

Abstract : This study examines whether valuation ratios and profitability are associated with subsequent-quarter stock returns in Taiwan. The analysis applies firm fixed-effects regressions with quarter fixed effects and firm-clustered standard errors. The results show that ROE i...

Sulfated PSGL-1 primes the enterovirus A71 fivefold vertex for localized remodeling

Enterovirus A71 (EV-A71) causes hand, foot, and mouth disease and poses a significant public health threat through severe neurological complications in pediatric cases. P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1 (PSGL-1) functions as an attachment factor, yet the structural basis of PSGL-1...
