Safety and Efficacy of Left Atrial Ablation After Percutaneous Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion in High-Bleeding-Risk Patients with Atrial Fibrillation: A Multicenter Analysis from the PROCEED-AF Ablation Registry

BACKGROUND AND AIMS: Patients with left atrial appendage (LAAO) devices are increasingly referred for AF ablation, yet anticoagulation strategies remain uncertain. The goal of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF) in...

High-density mapping of his-ventricular intervals: impact of recording site and sex-specific differences

Abstract Background Accurate assessment of the His–ventricular (HV) interval is essential to diagnosing infranodal conduction disease, but the influence of recording site and sex on HV values is not well defined. Objective To evaluate the impact of measurement location and sex on...

Left atrial anatomy and atrial arrhythmia recurrence after pulsed-field ablation

Abstract Background The impact of left atrial (LA) anatomical features on atrial arrhythmia (AA) recurrence after pulsed-field (PF)-based pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) is unknown. This study aimed to assess LA anatomical features associated with long-term AA recurrence after PVI...
