In-Sensor Visible and Mid-Infrared Dual-Band Perception and Computing

Abstract Machine vision in complex environments requires hardware that can integrate multispectral sensing with real-time front-end information processing. Visible light (VIS) and mid-infrared (MIR) signals provide complementary scene information, yet existing photodetectors cann...

Self‐Powered SWIR Photodetector Based on Se 0.2 Te 0.8 Thin‐Film Heterojunction

ABSTRACT High‐performance short‐wave infrared (SWIR) photodetectors typically rely on single‐crystalline germanium and III–V semiconductors. However, their high material costs and complex fabrication requirements hinder large‐area integration and cost‐effective SWIR technologies....

Recent Advances in Infrared‐to‐Visible Upconversion Photodetectors: From Multi‐Dimensional Innovations to Future Perspectives

ABSTRACT Thin‐film infrared‐to‐visible upconversion photodetectors (UCDs) have emerged as a cost‐effective, pixel‐less paradigm for infrared (IR) visualization. This review first elucidates mainstream upconversion modalities, device configurations, and the physical principles of...

Broadband Photodetectors and Imaging Arrays Based on PtSe 2 /Si Heterojunctions

ABSTRACT Short‐wave infrared (SWIR) photodetectors are of great importance for applications such as optical communications. However, due to the bandgap limitation of silicon (Si) and the poor compatibility of many SWIR photoactive materials with conventional integrated‐circuit pr...
