Draft genome sequence of Staphylococcus epidermidis strain UMP2601 isolated from environmental water

ABSTRACT We report the draft genome sequence of Staphylococcus epidermidis strain UMP2601 (2,469,061 bp, GC content of 32.03%) isolated from an environmental water sample. The organism was cultured on nutrient agar under aerobic conditions.
