A complementary amino acid formulation enhances exercise-induced skeletal muscle remodeling during resistance training

[Purpose] This study investigated whether a five-amino-acid formulation integrating complementary anabolic, metabolic, and redox-supporting functions enhances skeletal muscle remodeling during resistance training.[Methods] Male C57BL/6N mice were assigned to eight groups receivin...

Long-term lactate ingestion and exercise training differentially modulate body composition, resting substrate metabolism, and tissue-specific metabolic remodeling in mice

[Purpose] This study investigated whether long-term lactate ingestion induces systemic and tissue-specific metabolic adaptations under normal physiological conditions and whether these responses differ from those induced by exercise training.[Methods] Thirty-two male mice were ra...

Energy Substrate Utilization and Body Composition Following Exercise Preconditioning During Alternate-Day Fasting and Concurrent Exercise in Mice

Background/Objectives: Alternate-day fasting (ADF) combined with exercise has been suggested as an effective lifestyle strategy for reducing fat mass while preserving lean mass. However, whether exercise preconditioning before ADF plus concurrent exercise affects subsequent body-...
