Modular Synthesis of C5 Sulfur‐Functionalized Oxazolidinones via Thiol‐Induced Cascade Reactions of Epoxy Carbamates

ABSTRACT A modular cascade strategy has been developed for the synthesis of C5 sulfide‐functionalized oxazolidinones from epoxy carbamates and structurally diverse thiols. The transformation is initiated by intermolecular nucleophilic epoxide ring opening and followed by intramol...

CAN-Promoted Boc2O-Mediated Cascade Conversion of Aziridines to Oxazolidinones

Abstract An efficient CAN-promoted Boc2O-mediated cascade conversion of aziridines to oxazolidinones has been developed. The transformation proceeds under mild, CO2-free conditions and provides structurally diverse oxazolidinones in 16–99% yields (46 examples), with gram-scale re...
